Believe it or not, but one of the country’s premiere interior design companies started out as a web-content provider for foreign clients based in Tipas, Taguig. Born in 2010 the company – then known as Creative Pool Services – eventually decided to make a transition into interior design and furniture manufacturing in 2014. Under founder Cathy Tan, Creative Pool Services became CPS Design and Build. Hers was a simple vision: Manufacture furniture that would help their clients move in to a livable space – to turn houses into homes. Ms Tan saw the hassle and difficulty that clients had when they had to deal with different – and sometimes conflicting – contractors and suppliers just to create products and services that would complete their homes. To this end Ms Tan hired designers and managers whose core competencies lay not just in interior design, but in creativity.
CPS Design and Build changed its focus from Furniture Manufacturing, to space planning; interior and exterior design, renovation and construction, and; project management. The company was successfully able to combine this robust set of creative talents with the the best materials
