For those BGC employees who miss the much lamented “butas” a solution may rise by 2021 as Andrew Tan’s Alliance Global Group Incorporated’s (AGI) infrastructure unit: Infracorp Development Incorporated, has been granted by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Original Proponent Status for the construction of a skytrain linking the MRT in Guadalupe to Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

As the Original Proponent, Infracorp’s 3-Billion peso proposal for the construction of the 2-kilometer skytrain is now being considered by the National Economic And Development Authority (NEDA) Board’s Investment Coordination Committee for implementation.

Infracorp’s President Kevin Tan said that they can start the project before the year ends and expect it’s completion by early 2021. When completed, the skytrain is expected to benefit around 60,000 to 100,000 passengers going to and from Makati and Taguig daily.

Infracorp is also one of the companies bidding for the rehabilitation, development, operation and maintenance of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)
